Qualifications Needed

To gain a place on a teaching course you’ll need the following:

All teachers need to have Higher English, regardless of the stage they are teaching.  Primary/Nursery teachers also need Standard Grade Maths at Credit Level (or equivalent). 

You should already have a degree (or be about to complete a degree) to gain a place on a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education course (PDGE).
